Equipment used: Moisture meter profiling, thermal imaging survey, endoscope survey and visual inspections.
Upon arrival visual inspection was conducted and moisture could be seen on the living room and on the hallway wallpaper. High levels of moisture were presented at a shallow depth.
When investigated, the bathroom was located directly upon the affected areas. We tested the shower but when run no water could be seen leaking from underneath.
A thermal imaging survey was completed, locating the position of the pipework.
We then carried out an endoscope survey however the pipe work could not be accessed as they were below floor level and the position of the shower prevents us from accessing them.
To fix the leak, the shower will need to be removed to allow access to the pipework.
